		Why Chinese People Like to Put the Word"福" Inverse？

	春节，在许多家庭院落的门窗上，往往会看到一些倒贴着的大红“福”字，这可算得上是我国人民了。
	的一个传统习俗
	据说，“福”字倒贴的习俗来自清代恭新王府，一年春节前夕，大管家为讨主子欢心，照例写了许多
小故事	个“福”字让人贴于库房和王府大门上，有个家人因不识字，误将大门上的“ 福”字贴倒了。
	为此，恭亲王福晋十分恼火，多亏大管家能言善辩，跪在地上奴颜卑膝地说 ：“奴才常听人说，恭亲
	王寿高福大造化大，如今大福真的到(倒)了，乃吉庆之兆。”
	福晋听罢心想，怪不得过往行人都说恭亲王府福到(倒)了。吉语说千遍，金银增万贯。一高兴， 便重赏了管家
	和家人。
	事后，倒贴“福”字之俗就由达官府第传入百姓人家，并都愿过往行人或顽童念叨几句：“福到了，福到了！”
	On Spring Festival, you may usually find some inverse “福(fu)”words (which means happiness in English)
	sticked on the windows of many houses ,which is traditional Chinese custom.
	It is said, the custom comes from a Prince Mansion of Qing dynasty. On one Spring Festival Eve, for catering
	to his master, the housekeeper customarily wrote lots of “福(fu)”words and sent servants to stick them on
	gates of palace and storehouse but one of the servants could not read and write and made a mistake that
	he stuck the “福(fu)”inverse.
	The Prince’s wife was very angry with the mistake. Fortunately, the talkative housekeeper fell on his knees
	and said:” I always hear that my master has long life and good luck, now the happiness arrived (inversion and
	arrival pronounce like “dao” in Chinese) is foretoken of luck.”
	The Prince’s wife thought no wonder that many passengers said “Fu Dao Le”(the happiness arrived) at the
	door of the palace. So the Prince and his wife were very happy and rewarded the housekeeper and servants.
	After this , the custom of sticking “福(fu)”inverse was spread from nobles to commons. And every family
	would like passengers and children to say FU DAO LE(happiness arrived ) when they saw this.
