Know about Chinese auspicious knot

Chinese Knot is a type of national handicrafts with long history and profound cultural connotations. In Chinese language, "knot" has the meanings of reunion, friendliness, warm, marriage, love etc. In addition, "knot" and "luck, felicity" have the same pronunciation, so Chinese knots are often used to express some good wish including happiness ,prosperity, love and no evil. To thank for the support of our residents to the management office .

We will a hold Chinese knot appreciation show at maple place. A very skillful handicraft artist from Neighborhood Chinese School will be invited to give us a speech of Chinese knot’s culture and history, showing her capability of excellent art works and she will teach us how can make some simple Chinese knot.
