With over 3000 years history, Gu Qin is one of the most ancient among Chinese musical instruments. The music of the Gu Qin embodies the soul of the Chinese Culture to the full. Generally speaking, the Qin Players were always the elites of that times, and then the music of Gu Qin also is named "literati music". Qin as a spirit companion has accompanied literati all long since ancient times.
