Knowing about Chinese Paper cutting

Paper cuts refer to handicrafts made by cutting paper with scissors to form different patterns and pasting them on walls, windows, doors and ceilings. With their long history, paper cuts, which originated in China, have been very popular among the ordinary people of China. For redounding to the development and spread of Chinese traditional folk art, Neighborhood Chinese Language Center organized this Paper cuts activity as well as taught foreigners to make some simple but special art works..

Our teacher Yumei Chen who is a professional artist as well as a membership of artists association of Hebei province, contribute whole of her life for helping disabled people obtaining employments and living a better life by their hands.

The guests from Riviera learned some paper cut work skills and got free paper art works from Ms Chen , it is a memorable time for everybody!
